When you see this I'd like to welcome you to the Forum we made last year. I am a post first year student who will probably be back sometime next year or something. Any second years now should know or remember who I am but I wanna say to you new people or reoccuring people.

As today being the last day for most of us I wanted to make a topic on getting peoples XBLives, Steam IDs, and PSN ID's so if any of us want to still talk with each other or play games together we could. For a 2001 game I never knew I would have so much fun capping and base crashing with just bots.
Then there's the multiplayer and Comp Scene that kinda died (Thanks Hirez)
Plus it was the first game I grew up with and played my dad against.

Not bad. I have an idea that I think would look interesting that you could do.
My idea is 2 moons orbiting each other. Basically 2 moons in orbit with each other, spinning around each other as well as simultaneously orbiting a nearby planet. I'm pretty sure this would be possible if situations were correct. A Binary Moon Orbit is possible depending on distance and the planetary mass of each moon. Kinda like Binary Star Systems but with moons circling a planet.

The texturing on everything (From what I can see at least) looks nice. I'd suggest like everyone else,
Add more lighting so people can see what you've made.
Other than that everything else looks nice.

So after having Maya crash when I had the lighting done yesterday, I had fixed it and fixed my lighting. I present to you. MY STILL LIFE! Yeah. That's about it.

So here's my WIP Still Life picture thing. Nothing is set except that tophat over there. I'm going for a police investigation type idea with how I will set the weapons and everything but because they objects are just floating, you can't really tell. Also smoothing these things was a pain and wouldn't work no matter what I tried so some of the objects will look blocky. Enjoy

I have just learned that the Attachments folder is full so instead of being able to post on here I had to go onto my Imgur and make an album. Here's the link for anyone who wants to see my images. http://imgur.com/a/EzXFdThey come with models without wireframe and models with wireframe. Very interesting if I do say so myself.

So all of us First Years are doing a still life project by modelling, texturing and lighting our own "Still Life" picture that we build out of the air
As of right now, I'm almost done modelling most of my chosen objects. This one I am posting was one of the longest ones and is still in the process of being finished
I present you my Luger.
I still have smoothing and texturing to go. Hope I can see other First Year WIPs too.
