You have so many amazing examples of your artwork! I love that you added speedpaints to your demo reel. I did not think to do that!

I think your website is very cute and easy to navigate! You already have some fantastic examples of 3D work. It will be nice when you add more examples! The font for the words in your header and on your pages does bother me though. It doesn't stand out very much against the background. Maybe a font that is more bold or perhaps putting a flat color behind the words like on your resume page will make them easier to read.

Your website is very well organized and I think you have some great example work! I especially like the example drawings of the hands and the figures! I would like a little more consistentcy in the backgrounds of each of your pages though. Having a different background for each of your pages can be a little distracting.

Although your website is very stylistic and creative and it seems to hold a lot of personality, it is a bit confusing to navigate and difficult to read. I believe if there was a potential employer looking at your website they may be turned off by the large amount of colors, effects, and funky font. I think it is good to remember that the purpose of a portfolio is not necessarily to look cool but to get you a job interview. But it looks like you put a lot of work into your website massive props for that!

The 3D scene looks very well done! The scene is detailed and the lighting is fantastic.
I am impressed with the 2D run cycle. It is fairly smooth and the lineart is consistent (no jumpy lines or odd deformations.) As far as the story goes it is very unclear to me what is happening or how the 3D scene at the beginning fits together with the 2D scenes. The running scene seems to be dragged out for too long without anything to keep the audiences interest. Though I do enjoy the way the background pans as the character runs. I would like to know why the child is running in the first place and where the scary face pops out from at the end. If it pops out from the well maybe show a shot of the camera looking down into the well and then the face pops out. Scenes that help the audience connect the dots would help get your story across. 9

Overall I believe your animation was put together very nicely. The style is consistent and the characters look like they belong with the background. The overall storyline was very simple yet entertaining. I think it is definately a good example of limited animation.

Here is the final product of our animation history project! We chose the topic of pg13+ animation and we each came up with a third of the story. I focused on animating the lineart for the frames (except the pufferfish were drawn and animated by Allura) while Tara and Allura created the 3D backgrounds, colored the frames, and helped create some of the effects. We used Photoshop, Maya, and After Effects to create this project. 11

On the closeup of the face the animation is really smooth! I was impressed!

This is the animatic for our animation history project. Our theme is pg13+ animation with inspiration from the animated film Wizards, The Wall, and the concept of stream of consciousness. We all contributed to a piece of the story. We are animating it in photoshops and the backgrounds are being modeled in Maya. I am in charge of animating the lineart for each of the frames. We are currently in the process of animating and coloring all of the frames so we do not have the frames put together into an animation yet. 13

I do think the gun looks nice but your still life looks incomplete and flat. I think you should have taken the time to add a background and maybe you should try three point lighting. Your current lighting makes your scene looks flat especially since there are no cast shadows.

I think this looks very neat! A part that bugs me is the camera angle at the end of the animation. I usually enjoy a dynamic angle such as this one but I don't believe that it is fitting for this situation. It looks as if the words that pop out of the comic book might be important. Maybe try a camera angle that looks straight on the comic book. Maybe you can start with the camera angle that you currently have and then pan over to look directly down at the book. Something to indicate that the words are important and that the viewer should pay attention to what they say! otherwise this is really cool! I enjoy watching it!

I think you did a great job on this logo! I think there is a good balance between simplicity and complexity. The font of your texts is fantastic and your glow effects are done very well. The flying particles add a great atmosphere to your animation. Great job!
